Easter
Finally, I went for a cutting machine, a Silhouette (um, something).
The first card I made was this one, an Easter card.
The design is simple, hares run around the outside of a cut-out egg, on the inside of the card is a hidden fox, and the hares prance in the inside edge of an egg. A final, hanging egg fills the gap.
Plus there's lots of organza ribbon.
One version has a large egg with no ribbon on the edge of the card with brads, the other has a tiny egg.
I think the ribbon bow was too much, which is why it's missing from some of the pictures, but the card is very pretty.
I also cut them out in watercolour card, which was far too thick, and not really suitable for this kind of detail. I ended up with a lot of wastage, but the experience was good.
